How often should I treat my new puppy/kitten for fleas and worms?

It is best to treat your puppy or kitten for fleas on a monthly basis. Regular combing using a Flea Comb will help you keep on top of removing any eggs and flea dirt.

New puppies and kittens should be treated for worms on a monthly basis until they are 6 months of age, after which routine worming is recommended once every 3-4 months.

Ensure you use a product which is specially formulated for puppies or kittens as innappropraite products can be fatal.

If you use a tablet product, administer the treatment to your pet using a Pill Gun.  This helps make it much easier and less stressful for both you and your pet.
